What is National Night Out?: It is a national event which strengthens relationships between the public and public safety agencies. The main goal is to bring people together in an effort to eliminate crime, while having some fun! The city of Suffolk is known for their highest city participation records, winning 1st place in the nation in 2008, 2009, 2014, 2016, and 2018 and placing in the top 5 in the nation for 13 years straight. Pretty impressive!
Join Bridgeport Suffolk and 3800 Acqua in the Bridgeport Plaza on Tuesday, August 3rd from 5pm-8pm for a Carnival themed, family friendly, and open to the public event! We will feature a mobile axe throwing attraction, called Killin’ Pine, as well as Bob Langston, offering complimentary caricature art. We will also feature live music on the stage by Natalia Mount and several carnival themed game stations set up, where you can play with the opportunity to redeem your winnings for prizes! Carnival Catering and Sno Kingz Snoballz food trucks will be out selling a variety of carnival themed foods and treats. The city of Suffolk will also make an appearance with their police and fire motor-brigade!
