The Bridgeport Foundation is excited to announce the third annual Bridgeport Holiday Market.
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! So join us on Saturday, December 2nd, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, as the Plaza at Bridgeport will come alive with holiday cheer!
Begin your evening with the irresistible taste and smells of hot apple cider, coffee, and hot chocolate from Knotts Coffee Company. Then get a jump on your shopping list by visiting our local vendors throughout the Plaza while enjoying the holiday sounds from our live DJ!
Don’t forget to stop by the Bridgeport Christmas Tree Lot for Christmas Tree sales offered by Knotts Creek Trees & Trimmings.
Please follow parking attendants and parking signs to our overflow event parking lots. All hayride, Santa photo, and concession proceeds will go towards the not-for-profit Bridgeport Foundation. Must be 21 years old to purchase alcohol and show proof of age for a wrist band.
Photos With Santa
Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive for secret swapping and photos at 4:00 pm. This year, Santa sessions will be limited to 36 visits per night. Upon arrival, please purchase tickets at the welcome desk for Santa visits for $15 a session. Each session will include downloadable prints for you to view within three business days of the event.
Hay Rides
Couples, families, and friends can enjoy a hay ride throughout Bridgeport to view the holiday lights and enjoy the merriment. Hay rides will be limited, so please purchase your tickets at the welcome desk as soon as you arrive.
The Bridgeport Foundation will sell popcorn, spiked cider, beer, water, and other refreshments throughout the evening.
The rest of the evening is yours to enjoy; we hope that the magic tonight sparks feelings of joy! Get your holiday season started with the Christmas events in Suffolk, VA at Bridgeport.

Twenty-four vendors are scheduled for the 2023 Bridgeport Holiday Market. Booths with Chistmas gifts, sweet treats, flowers, home decorations, clothing, specialized apparel, health & beauty products, jewlery and more will line the sidewalk on Bridgeport Way and fill the Bridgeport Plaza.
Wine-Marked Maker Hand-etched Glassware and Décor
Wine-Marked Maker began locally in the Bennetts Creek area of Suffolk where I have been located with my family for over 20 years. I began designing digital art and by chance someone mentioned one of my designs would look really great on a glass. That quickly turned into designing for glassware and teaching my self how to make my designs transferable to glass by hand etching every single piece. I design things I love and am constantly working on new and seasonal art. The glass I work with ranges from everyday glassware to glass art pieces that can be featured in your home or business. In additon to designing for myself, I have begun to work with individuals and businesses for special occasions, events, and a wide variety of personal gift ideas.

The Pink Box is a family-owned cupcake and dessert bakery, created and opened with a love for desserts and a desire to spend more family time together and leave behind a legacy. Something interesting about them is that they have over 100 cupcake flavors, with new rotating flavors every week! They even make all of their own apparel themselves. Sunflower Farm Seasonal Produce, Peppers, Spice Blends, and Hot Sauce
Sunflower Farm is a small farm in Surry, Virgninia, specializing in some of the world’s hottest peppers. The farm began growing in 2022, producing a variety of produce, sunflowers, and lots of hot peppers. Peppers are sold fresh and also turnes into a variety of spice blends and sauces. Sunflower Farm’s best selling hot sauce is called “Fatality” and is one of the hottest sauces you’ll ever eat.

Bucket is a dog rescued from Iraq that is now an integral part of our family. Bucket is the pickiest of eaters and will spit out a treat she doesn’t like, having spit out more treats than she consumed. I knew my mission: create a treat full of nutrients, and mosti importantly, a treat Bucket owuld actually eat. After many failed attempts, I made and Bucket ate a treat made of simple, wholesome, and natural ingredients! I shared these treats with friends and family and realized Bucket and I created a treat dogs (and sometimes humans) love- Bucket’s Biscuits!
Breezy Hill Meadworks Breezy Hill
Originally established in 2019, we’re a farm meadery located in Smithfield, VA. We’re considered a “farm meadery” because we produce and harvest at least 51% of the honey from our own hives to make our meads. Our hives are strategically placed throughout Isle of Wight County based upon the winds and what nectar sources are located nearby. Farmers like to have our hives on their properties because having bees nearby to germinate the crops can almost double the yield of crops produced. This kind of makes it a symbolic relationship, as we get nectar collected from crops and plants on our property (which ultimately becomes honey) and they get more crops. We also use beehives byproducts, such as beeswax, burr bomb, etc. to make other products such as candles and soaps.

How do I get my photo with Santa?
Photos with Santa are available during the market hours for $15 per group. Please purchase a ticket from the Bridgeport text, then queue calmly and polietly at the direction of the market staff. There are a limited number of tickets available each night.
Is the Holiday Market canceled for inclement weather?
The Holiday Market at Bridgeport will be canceled if, in the determination of the Market staff, that the weather conditions are unsafe or excesively unpleasant. The cancelation will be posted to the Bridgeport Facebook and Instagram accounts as soon as the cancelation is announced.
How can my business get a booth at the Holiday Market?
Business interested in having their own booth at the Bridgeport Holiday Market should apply for next year’s Farmers Market. When dates are announced for next year’s market, all Farmers Market vendors in good standing will be invited to participate.
