Mixed-use Development Announced
Story from Suffolk News Herald
BECO, a Virginia-based multifamily and commercial property developer, on Thursday detailed their plans for a mixed-use development in North Suffolk called Bridgeport.
The project will be located at the intersection of Bridge Road and Windward Lane across from Bennett’s Creek Farmers Market, according to Public Relations and Marketing Director Julie Gifford.
“The owners chose this location because they wanted to provide a social hub in North Suffolk where residents from all over Suffolk and coastal Virginia can live, work and play,” Gifford wrote in an email.
The first phase will feature 10,000 square feet of office space and 60,000 square feet of retail space, with 40,000 square feet available for lease.
No announcements have been made regarding leased space, according to Gifford, but ideal businesses for the space include boutiques and local retailers.
