Farmers Market at Bridgeport Returns for 2023 Season on May 14th
We are delighted to announce that the Bridgeport Foundation will host a third year of the Farmers Market at Bridgeport every 2nd and 4th Sunday from 10AM to 2PM! We’ll kickoff the 2023 season with a specialty “Mother’s and Mimosas” market on Sunday, May 14th. Come celebrate Mother’s Day with us, treating your mother or yourself to shopping and tasty mimosas, sold by the Bridgeport Foundation.
Our 2023 farmers market will run until the end of August and feature a specialty Holiday Market on Saturday, December 2nd from 4PM to 8PM.
In an effort to accommodate more vendors this year, our market will move from the Bridgeport Plaza to the overflow parking lot on the 7-Eleven side of Bridgeport, located at 3832 Bridge Road, Suffolk, VA 23435.
Our seasonal farmers markets will spotlight authentic locally-grown, locally-made, and handcrafted products with vendors that will range from artisans, crafters, craftsmen, local farmers, and ranchers.
Why shop at farmers markets? Spending money at farmers markets keeps your money in circulation within the local community, preserving and creating local jobs.
I love farmers markets, what can I do to support yours? Purchasing as much as you can from our farmers market is the simplest way to show your support. Neighborhood volunteer and sponsorship opportunities are also available to help support our markets.
